Who we are:

Family owned and operated, Northwest Hops™ is now based in Donald, Oregon. Historically a town whose history lies in hops. We aim to bring it back. With sister towns like Hubbard "Home of the Hubbard Hop Festival", the history is clear. Our long-time reputation and location position us to provide superior hop rhizomes, dried hops and hop pellets to the public. In the Willamette Valley (the valley we live in) we are surrounded by hops and the history of our family and friends is here too. We actively work at acquiring new hop varieties to propagate for farmers, home brewers, gardeners and the like. Northwest Hops™ is represented and backed by generations of hop farming.

With our passion being hops, and our specialty being customer service, we are confident we can help you make the best beer.

Second: Integrity. You know it. We live it. It's simple really. We are a true family ran company with a lot more to lose than just money. Northwest Hops™ stands for the hop farmer, the brewer, and anyone with a passion for hops and happiness.

Third: The close relationships that we have established over many years allow us the opportunity to offer many varieties of hops that are consistent and fresh. Never last years crop. Our inventory is liquidated every year for this purpose. At Northwest Hops™ you are guaranteed that the harvest is from this year.

What separates our rhizomes from the rest?

By doing custom harvesting by hand, we can ensure our product 100%. Our business is to carefully pick only the choice rhizomes on an individual basis. When the rhizomes are harvested, we package them in small quantities and store them in a large climate-controlled cooler to maintain dormancy. This insures peak freshness and moisture.

Our rhizomes are not crudely handled. Many times if you are ordering from a home supply or reseller, the hops have been man handled, carelessly stored, tossed in a box and then shipped.

And our dried hops?

Well, there are none as sticky icky, crisp and pungent as ours! Simply put. Awesome. Our dried hops come from our family and friend's hop farms. Inside the Willamette Valley of Oregon. Don't be fooled! Hops are grown right in two parts of the world. Oregon and Germany! If they are coming from anywhere else, consider them sub-par. ;)

And the Hop Pellets?

Our Hop Pellets are as fresh as you can get them. What does that mean? Northwest Hops gets our Hop Pellets from the same people that everyone else does. Really there are only a couple of people that are putting hops into pellets correctly. Unfortunately, we are not one of them. Hop Union is where our hop pellets come from.
